A fully reconditioned straight stairlift is a fixed £995 fitted, including the free home survey, installation, handover and a 12-month warranty. ### What does 'reconditioned' actually mean? A reconditioned stairlift is a previously used lift that has been professionally stripped, inspected, deep-cleaned and rebuilt in our workshop. Worn parts are replaced, batteries renewed and every safety feature tested before it leaves us. ### How quickly can you install one? Because we hold reconditioned straight stairlifts in stock, we can usually survey and fit within 24–48 hours of your first call. Same-day emergency fitting is sometimes possible — ask when you ring. ### Is a reconditioned stairlift as safe as a new one? Yes. Every reconditioned lift goes through the same rigorous safety checks as a new install, with new batteries, tested sensors, a working seatbelt, hold-to-run controls and a lockable keyswitch. ### Is there a warranty? Yes — every reconditioned stairlift includes the same 12-month parts and labour warranty as new, plus a 24-hour emergency callout line covering Greater Manchester. ### Will it damage my staircase? No. The rail attaches to the stair treads, not your wall. When the lift is eventually removed, the holes are small and easily filled. ### What if I have a curved staircase?
