Blackley sits in north Manchester around the M9 postcode area, including Higher Blackley and nearby residential streets off Victoria Avenue, with a mix of older terraces, post-war semis and some detached homes. That housing stock often means narrow staircases, short landings and the occasional turn, especially in the more traditional streets closer to the Harpurhey boundary.

Local access & staircase notes
Blackley is in the M9 postcode area, and the district includes higher-density residential streets around Victoria Avenue and the Harpurhey edge, where we often see typical Manchester staircases with narrow flights, quarter-turn landings and the occasional winder on older terraces. On the estates and post-war semis around Blackley, stairs are more often straight or half-landing, but widths can still be tight enough that a site survey is the safest way to confirm the right rail and seat fit.
