Refer-a-Friend — Terms of Promotion

- Promoter. The promoter is Manchester Stairlifts, 188 Stamford Street Central, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6 7LR ("we", "us", "Manchester Stairlifts").
- Who can take part. The scheme is open to UK residents aged 18 and over. You do not have to be an existing Manchester Stairlifts customer. Employees of Manchester Stairlifts and members of their immediate family or household are excluded.
- The reward. We will pay £100 (one hundred pounds sterling) for each successful referral. A referral is "successful" when the person you refer has a stairlift supplied and installed by Manchester Stairlifts and has paid the agreed invoice in full. There is no cap on the number of successful referrals one person can make.
- How to make a referral. Sign in to your refer-a-friend account to obtain your unique referral link or code. Share it with someone you reasonably believe may benefit from a stairlift. The person you refer must:
- be a new prospect (not already known to Manchester Stairlifts within the previous six (6) months);
- request a free survey using your referral link or quote your code at the time of enquiry;
- complete a survey and have the stairlift installed within six (6) months of first contact.
- Payout options. You may choose either:
- £100 paid by UK bank transfer to a UK personal current account in your name; or
- a £100 credit ("maintenance voucher") to use against any servicing, repair, call-out or maintenance work carried out by Manchester Stairlifts within twenty-four (24) months of the voucher being issued. Vouchers are non-transferable, have no cash redemption value once issued and cannot be exchanged for another voucher or product.
- When you'll be paid. We aim to pay or issue your reward within thirty (30) days of (a) the referred installation being completed and paid in full, and (b) you submitting valid payout details through your account.
- Consent and data protection. By submitting someone's details, you confirm you have their permission to pass their name and contact details to Manchester Stairlifts for the purpose of arranging a stairlift quotation. The personal data of the person you refer will be processed in line with our Privacy Policy.
- Anti-abuse. Self-referrals are not eligible. Multiple accounts created by the same person, automated submissions, paid lead-generation activity, or referrals where consent cannot be reasonably evidenced will be disqualified. We reserve the right to withhold or claw back rewards where we reasonably suspect abuse of the scheme, and to remove accounts that breach these terms.
- Tax. Cash rewards may constitute taxable income depending on your personal circumstances. It is your responsibility to declare any reward to HMRC where required. We do not deduct tax at source.
- Changes and termination. We may amend or withdraw the scheme at any time on reasonable notice. Any reward already earned but unpaid at the date of any change will be honoured under the terms in force at the time the referral was installed.
- Liability. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
